Role Summary

Specifically, this means

  • Responsible for managing a packaging area at the Ludwigshafen site
  • Function as head of production in accordance with Section 12 AMWHV for the packaging area
  • Release of batches
  • Ensuring compliance with local and global AbbVie requirements as well as all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring the continuous supply of medicines of the highest quality
  • Introduction, implementation and continuous development of daily shop floor management
  • Technical and disciplinary management of production employees in shift operations
  • Accompanying and supporting the shop floor in change processes
  • Active, key figure-based improvement work in close collaboration with related areas, especially engineering and maintenance
  • Development of strategic concepts as well as promotion and implementation of new ideas

Requirements

This is how you make the difference

  • Master's degree or doctorate in mechanical engineering, pharmacy, natural sciences, packaging technology or a comparable field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a regulated production environment
  • Strong understanding of operational requirements as well as the effects of regulatory and GMP-relevant requirements
  • Experience in planning, optimizing and further developing production processes
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
  • Strong hands-on mentality in root cause analysis and problem solving; Knowledge of Operational Excellence/Six Sigma is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire employees
