Role Summary

The Director of Growth and Innovation plays a central role in the strategic evolution of the company's portfolio of software solutions in the healthcare sector. In close collaboration with the Vice President of R&D and the Executive Committee, he defines, orchestrates and executes the product strategy in order to support growth, modernize platforms and accelerate the transition to a SaaS model.

Leading a team of product managers, he inspires, mobilizes and mentors the teams responsible for product strategy, ensuring that each initiative is aligned with the business priorities, customer needs and technological directions of the company.

Its leadership contributes directly to innovation, organizational performance and the impact of solutions in the health network in Quebec, positioning the company as a key player in the digital transformation of the sector.

The role has two determining dimensions. On the one hand, the incumbent leads the agentic transformation of the product organization: he redefines his team's ways of working by delegating coordination, monitoring and analysis activities to AI agents, in order to concentrate his managers' time on judgment and decision-making. On the other hand, he assumes a business development aspect: direct presence with customers in the health network, development of strategic partnerships and formal contribution to the qualification of the growth pipeline, in co-accountability with the sales teams.

Strategic leadership

Define and implement growth and innovation strategies for the entire portfolio of software products in the healthcare sector.

Lead and inspire a team of product managers by fostering a culture focused on impact, innovation and execution.

Product strategy and digital transformation

Develop and maintain the strategic product roadmap, including migration to a modern, scalable and secure SaaS model.

Align product initiatives with the objectives of the executive committee and the technological orientations of the company.

Business development and customer relations

Maintain direct and regular contact with customers in the health network and maintain relationships with strategic partners in the ecosystem.

Formally contribute to the growth pipeline: detection, qualification and prioritization of opportunities linked to the portfolio, in co-accountability with the sales teams.

Translate the value of solutions into monetizable propositions: pricing models, SaaS migration offers and partnership agreements.

Human capital management

Develop the skills of product managers and optimize the allocation of resources according to strategic priorities.

Supervise, mobilize and support team members to maximize their performance and professional growth.

Cross-functional collaboration

Work closely with the R&D, architecture, IT, SAC/SP and sales teams to ensure overall consistency of product decisions.

Act as the main point of contact for the executive committee regarding product strategy, portfolio performance and market developments.

Responsibilities

Agentic transformation of the product organization

  • Design and manage the transformation of the organization's ways of working produced by agentic AI: portfolio coordination, progress monitoring, production of progress reports, market monitoring and analysis.
  • Determine, for each role of the product team, what can be delegated to agents and what must remain under human accountability, then redefine the roles and skills accordingly.
  • Establish the safeguards for responsible use of AI – quality, traceability, protection of health information – measure the capacity gains obtained and report them to management.

Portfolio management and execution governance

  • Oversee the prioritization of initiatives and the coherence of the portfolio, relying on tooled and automated monitoring mechanisms rather than manual coordination.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives — timelines, budgets and business objectives — using automatically populated indicators and dashboards.

Requirements

Performance and governance

  • Define, monitor and analyze key indicators (KPIs) linked to product performance, customer satisfaction and the progress of the SaaS transition.
  • Ensure rigorous portfolio governance to ensure transparency, informed decision-making and measurable impact.

Profile sought

  • Strategic leadership and ability to mobilize product teams.
  • Expertise in product strategy, portfolio management and innovation.
  • Excellent command of SaaS, cloud environments and Agile practices.
  • Strong analytical capacity: KPIs, opportunity evaluation, decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience applying AI, including agentic AI, to transforming the way a team works — beyond experimentation.
  • Aptitude for business development: direct customer relations, strategic partnerships and contribution to pipeline qualification.
  • Judgment regarding responsible use of AI and protection of health information.
  • Executive communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector (asset).
  • French/English bilingualism (mandatory).
