Digital Solutions Consultant (w/m/d) EPCM Industry – Factory Lifecycle Management

Role Summary

Bring in your expertise as a Digital Solutions Consultant and shape the future of the industry with us!

We drive innovation and implement highly complex EPCM projects for our customers. From semiconductor and battery cell production to automotive and life sciences to chemistry, power plants and process technology, we are shaping the future of industry.

As a solution consultant for our Factory Lifecycle Management (FLM), you take on a key role between specialist departments, product management, development and project teams. You combine process understanding with technical expertise, develop practical solutions and ensure that our FLM platform is used optimally in customer projects.

Testing, structuring and further developing solution concepts for the Factory Lifecycle Management platform.

Translating business requirements into actionable functional and technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Derive data structures, object relationships, workflows and configuration rules for new product features.

Accompanying the implementation of new functions as a technical sparring partner for development and product management.

Evaluating requirements regarding standard functionalities, configuration options and necessary further developments of the platform.

Planning and carrying out release tests, user acceptance tests and technical validation of new solutions.

Supporting projects with the introduction, configuration and application of the platform as well as bringing project experiences back into product development.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies in the field of civil engineering, industrial engineering, architecture, computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in industrial, EPCM, planning, construction or infrastructure projects as well as in the environment of digital platforms, software solutions or product development.
• Sound understanding of engineering, planning and project management processes as well as the ability to translate technical requirements into structured solution concepts and technical requirements.
• Experience in requirements engineering, business analysis, solution design or the conception of digital solutions including user stories, acceptance criteria and process modeling.
• Good knowledge of software systems, data models, workflows, role and authorization concepts as well as no-code/low-code configurations; Programming or development experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, structured work and the ability to critically question requirements and develop solutions together with specialist departments and development teams.
