DevSecOps IT Engineer/Consultant (m/w/d)

Role Summary

Do you enjoy working directly with customers, have in-depth experience in cloud security and DevSecOps and would you like to not only operate Kubernetes environments, but also actively make them more secure? Then this position could be a good fit for you.

In the role as (Senior) DevSecOps Engineer / Consultant (m/f/d) you will support our team with security projects in modern cloud infrastructures - from the implementation of tailor-made security solutions to long-term support for our customers.

The activity is predominantly organized remotely; On-site appointments only take place sporadically, for example for project start-ups or selective assignments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstration and implementation of modern security solutions in customer projects
• Implementation of security processes and tools in the cloud, especially in Kubernetes environments
• Development and maintenance of custom API scripts in Python to automate and manage security tools
• Supporting customers in short-term implementation projects as well as long-term support for queries
• Close cooperation in a specialized, five-person security team

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in the relevant area (DevSecOps, Cloud Security, IT Security Consulting)
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes (Certified Kubernetes Administrator/CKA required), Linux, Git/GitOps, Terraform, Python, Helm, security concepts and best practices
• Fluent to native German language skills (C1/C2) / English at least B2
• It would be ideal if you also brought the following with you
• Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
• Experience with Aquasecurity, AWS, Azure or CNAPP solutions
• Knowledge of BSI-Grundschutz or other compliance frameworks
