Requirements

  • Completed degree in the area of Information Technology, or completion of any higher education course accompanied by a postgraduate course certificate (specialization, master's or doctorate) in the area of Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
  • DESIRABLE CERTIFICATION: Have at least one in the following databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, SAPASE, SAP-IQ, MySQL)
  • Desirable experience: 03 years of experience in data modeling and integration of large volumes in analytical and transactional environments.
  • Knowledge of relational and dimensional modeling; Advanced SQL, DDL, DML, DCL; Platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB; Modeling tools: PowerDesigner, Erwin, CA-Gen; Knowledge of integrations via SGDBs, Database Links and ETL (e.g. Informatica PowerCenter).

MAIN ACTIVITIES: Keep data models, logical and physical data structures updated, keeping them consistent in accordance with business rules. Guarantee the quality of metadata considering their usefulness for the different sectors of the company. Participate in the evaluation of automation solutions whenever this interferes with the production and use of information, monitoring the implementation of models and checking the quality of the database content, thus ensuring their adequacy to business objectives.

  • Define the conceptual, logical and physical modeling of the information necessary to serve the business;
  • Develop, propose, maintain and update data models, ensuring data normalization, eliminating or minimizing redundant data, promoting data consistency at the model level to be implemented in the database;
  • Define data access security procedures;
  • Redefine data models depending on particularities in the physical implementation in order to improve database performance;
  • Survey data distribution needs and work together with DBAs on physical implementation;
  • Work on architecture modeling and implementation of BI & Big Data systems and indicators and dashboards to support executive decision making;
  • Design and develop the architecture for data services across the entire technology and platform ecosystem (Relational, Analytical, NoSQL), with the aim of supporting data consumption by BI applications;
  • Promote and develop best practices in BI, with a focus on results and deliveries in realizing benefits, providing consultancy, support and mentoring to the various business areas, with recommendations and guidance for continuous improvement, and support of the established organizational model;
  • Participate in the development and updating of the data management and governance methodology;
  • Support the specification of integration mechanisms such as: services, ETL specifications, database links and other integration mechanisms via SGDB;
  • Create SQL scripts to validate information, specify reports, etc.;
