Job details

In this position, as a software engineer for electro-hydraulic drive systems for construction machinery, you will be involved in the development of control software for mass-produced hydraulic systems for construction machinery such as wheel loaders and hydraulic excavators, together with team members in Germany.

You will also carry out technical verification and sales expansion for the domestic sales of new products, as well as collaboration with German software system engineers.

• ・Required specification meeting with customers
• ・Selection of our products and software systems that meet customer requirements
• ・Creating estimates and checking product technical specifications (including communication with overseas bases)
• ・Product launch technical support and advice at customer sites
• ・Adjustment and verification of functional safety requirements
• ・Sales technical support for new products (information exchange with German product management team)

*After joining the company, training will be conducted at the German headquarters for about 6 months.

*We are recruiting for a position in charge, but we are looking for someone who will not only be able to carry out assigned tasks according to instructions, but also have the ability to create strategies logically on their own and add significant added value to the work, and will be in a position to be assigned as a team leader.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in the development or optimization of drive systems for machinery.
• In particular, experience in optimizing electronic control systems and an understanding of systematic approaches.
• ・Possess a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent field.
• ・Experience using English frequently in work (as a guideline, have English proficiency with a TOEIC score of 800 or higher)
• Although the client is a domestic company, English conversation skills are required as there will be communication with Germany.
• The final interview will be conducted mainly in English, with German members also participating.
