Buscamos una persona responsable de puesta en marcha con experiencia y meticulosa para dirigir la puesta en marcha y el arranque de los sistemas MEP (mecánicos, eléctricos y de fontanería) en proyectos de construcción de centros de datos de misión crítica en la ciudad de Querétaro, México. En este puesto clave, se asegurará de que todos los sistemas eléctricos, mecánicos, de climatización, de fontanería y de seguridad de las personas se sometan a pruebas exhaustivas, se validen y se entreguen de forma que superen las especificaciones del proyecto, las expectativas del cliente y los requisitos operativos. Trabajará en colaboración con equipos multifuncionales, contratistas y partes interesadas para impulsar la finalización satisfactoria del proyecto, manteniendo al mismo tiempo los más altos estándares de calidad y seguridad.
- Dirigir y supervisar el proceso completo de puesta en servicio de los sistemas MEP, incluyendo la planificación, la ejecución, las pruebas y la documentación
- Elaborar planes y protocolos de puesta en servicio exhaustivos, alineados con los plazos del proyecto y los requisitos del cliente
- Coordinarse con los equipos de ingeniería, construcción y operaciones para garantizar una integración y puesta en marcha fluidas de los sistemas
Realizar pruebas y validaciones rigurosas de los sistemas eléctricos, mecánicos, de climatización, de fontanería y de seguridad de las personas para verificar el cumplimiento de las especificaciones de diseño y las normas del sector
Identificar, documentar y resolver las deficiencias del sistema y los problemas de rendimiento de manera oportuna y eficiente.
Elaborar informes detallados de puesta en servicio, resultados de pruebas y documentación técnica para las partes interesadas del proyecto y para el cumplimiento normativo.
Gestionar los presupuestos y calendarios de puesta en servicio, manteniendo la transparencia con la dirección del proyecto.
Garantizar el cumplimiento de todos los códigos, normativas y protocolos de seguridad aplicables a lo largo de la fase de puesta en servicio.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field teams and contractors during system startup and incident resolution
- Provide training sessions to operations and maintenance personnel on system operation and best practices
- Collaborate with customers to address their concerns and ensure their satisfaction with the systems delivered
- Monitor and track commissioning progress against established milestones and key performance indicators
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in MEP system commissioning, system commissioning or a related field
- Demonstrated experience managing commissioning activities on data center construction projects
- Solid technical knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing and personal safety systems
- Proficient in commissioning protocols, test procedures and industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC or equivalent)
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail
- Mastery of technical documentation, report writing and data analysis
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Leadership experience, with the ability to guide and support field teams and contractors
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with software and commissioning tools (will be an advantage)
- Bilingual ability in English and Spanish (will be valued for the position in Querétaro)
- Professional certification in commissioning or related field (AABC, NEBB or equivalent) (will be a plus)
