Do you want to experience how strategic decisions are prepared in an international industrial group? As a working student Strategy, Market Intelligence & Business Development (m/f/d), you will work closely with the Head of Strategy and support the team in strategy, market analysis, business development and M&A preparation - at the interface of market, technology and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Support with data and market analyzes e.g. evaluation/structuring of market, project and competition data; pipeline, trend and segment analysis; Ad hoc analyzes with initial recommendations for action
  • Creation of presentation and communication documents, e.g. development of clear storylines, core statements and visualizations; Preparation of complex content for management decisions
  • Strategic input: research into competitors, regulation, industry developments and customers; Participation in market models/forecast logic; Maintenance of market and project data
  • Support in the area of business development & M&A, e.g. with target screenings and preliminary analyzes (attractiveness, competitive position, fit); Profiling/benchmarking; Preparation of data and insights for internal discussions
  • Team and organizational support: preparation of meeting documents, workshops and customer visits; Organizing appointments, gathering information and coordinating small workstreams

Requirements

  • You are currently completing a course of study e.g. B. in the field of industrial engineering, business administration, economics, business analytics, data science, sustainability/energy economics or comparable
  • You have strong analytical skills as well as a structured, fast way of working, high motivation to learn and the ability to work in a team
  • You enjoy market and competition analysis as well as a strong interest in strategy, business development, M&A/company valuation
  • You feel confident with the MS Office package and ideally already have user knowledge of Power BI and Salesforce
  • Very good knowledge of German and English and clear written and oral communication round off your profile
