Van and minibus driver

Role Summary

SGS lubricacion Chinalco contract is looking for a professional van and minibus driver to join our team at the Chinalco mining company, Peru. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for safely operating vans and minibuses to transport personnel and materials to and from various locations.

Operate vans and minibuses safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Transport employees, visitors and materials to designated locations in a timely manner

Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper operation

Keep accurate records of trips, mileage.

• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary
• Keep the interior of the vehicle clean and organized
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers and maintain a professional demeanor at all times

Requirements

• Driver's license valid for 3 years to operate vans and minibuses in Peru
• 3 years Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably with vans and minibuses
• Experience driving a truck or minibus in open pit mining operations and interacting with heavy equipment
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Strong Spanish communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Physical ability to assist with loading and unloading when necessary
• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including early mornings, nights, 14x7 regime
