Role Summary
At Hitachi Energy, you will play a vital role in developing the skills and compliance of the workforce that contributes to the energy solutions of tomorrow. As a Training and Development Coordinator, you will support training activities by ensuring the planning, coordination and administration of learning processes within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure the quality of training data, compliance with regulatory requirements and the effectiveness of learning pathways. Through your support of skills development projects, learning management system (LMS) administration and continuous process improvement, you will directly contribute to the performance, compliance and operational excellence of the organization. This opportunity will allow you to work with several internal partners, develop your expertise in training management and participate in initiatives that have a concrete impact on the success of our teams.
How you will create an impact
- Coordinate training activities by ensuring planning, logistics, communications and follow-up of participants.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align training initiatives with business needs.
- Act as a resource person for employees and managers regarding training requirements and data.
- Produce and communicate performance indicators to support compliance, audits and operational needs.
- Administer and optimize the learning management system (LMS), including user profiles, qualifications and certifications.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity and compliance of training files and data.
- Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures and guidelines.
- Support the implementation of training and organizational development projects while respecting established deadlines and priorities.
Requirements
- You already hold a work authorization allowing you to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
- College or university diploma in project management, administration, human resources, manufacturing operations or a related field.
- Two to four years of relevant experience in training coordination, administration of a learning management system or project management.
- Experience in a manufacturing, technical or regulated environment considered an asset.
- Good knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and excellent command of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of compliance, document management and reporting practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills in French and English as well as a strong customer orientation.
