Training as a chemical laboratory technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

Focus of the training

During your training, you will go through five different departments and learn the basics of working as a chemical laboratory technician with us. Over time, you will gain more responsibility so that over the course of your training you will be able to carry out the tasks as a chemical laboratory technician independently

• In a modern laboratory environment equipped according to the latest standards, you will learn and take on sample collection, preparation and extraction in our studies, working closely with our technicians
• In addition, you will learn how to use modern chromatographic and spectroscopic methods (e.g. LC-MS-MS, GC-MS-MS) and the determination of a wide range of physical-chemical parameters

You will learn how to work and document according to the guidelines of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP). This is an internationally recognized and respected quality assurance system that deals with the organizational process and framework conditions under which non-clinical health and environmental safety tests are planned, carried out and monitored

• Of course, we also train you in the safe handling of hazardous substances and in compliance with the usual regulations on occupational safety and environmental protection
• We want you to successfully complete your vocational training and be as prepared as possible for the start of your career - ideally by taking on a job with us - so we offer you in-house practical exercises to prepare and train for the chemical experiments required in the exam

Requirements

• At least a good secondary school leaving certificate, with grades in mathematics and natural sciences no worse than "satisfactory"
• Basic knowledge of common IT applications; We offer you training in MS Word and MS Excel
• You enjoy working in a team and appreciate an open and familiar environment
