Lab Technician (m/w/d) im Bereich Beton/Mörtel at Sika AG in Leimen, BW, Germany.

Role Summary

• Our competent R&D team is now looking for reinforcements at the Leimen location:
• Carrying out physical and mechanical tests on concrete, mortar and aggregates (e.g. fresh and hardened concrete tests, compressive strength)
• Calculate and produce concrete mixes according to regulations, convert recipe information to create laboratory mixes
• Standard testing of aggregates, cement and concrete
• Independent planning, implementation and evaluation of development projects for concrete admixtures
• Documentation of all measurement and test results as well as creation of test reports for project and development documentation
• Carrying out testing equipment monitoring, safe handling of laboratory testing equipment
• Maintenance, care and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure precise measurements
• Support from technical service and sales

Requirements

• Completed training as a building materials tester (m/f/d) or comparable qualification with a focus on mortar and concrete
• Ideally experience in concrete, mortar or cement testing
• Knowledge of concrete regarding production, processing and testing
• Knowledge of aggregate testing and ideally knowledge of concrete admixtures
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English is an advantage
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, as well as a structured, analytical and reliable working style
• Confident use of MS Office and digital affinity
• Technical understanding and interest in natural sciences
