Role Summary

We are looking for competent experts to solve these challenges and we are now looking for an experienced structural design project manager to join us. Would you be our new structural engineering project manager?
Your new task
Our work is based on people's expertise, which is supported by technology. With the help of new technologies, we develop our operations and expand our possibilities. As a global organization, we use technology to automate and simplify processes whenever possible.
As our new structural engineering project manager, you will get involved in versatile and interesting projects. You get to bring your own know-how to project management and at the same time develop in the company of inspiring people and projects.
Responsibilities
Your area of responsibility will be
- Project management
- You control the progress order of the structural design process and fit it into the agreed schedule
- You are responsible for and monitor the realization of the project's financial goals and profitability
- Project resourcing planning
- Working in the customer interface
Your workplace is located at our office in Espoo, Tampere or Jyväskylä.
About you
As a project manager, you have a customer-oriented way of thinking, people management skills and stakeholder management skills.
Requirements
For this open position, we expect you to
Structural engineering degree, such as DI / Ins. (YAMK) / Ins. (amk)
- More than 7 years of experience in structural design tasks and a few years of experience working as a project manager in demanding locations
- A solid background in structural design and the ability to apply this knowledge to demanding project entities
- Experience working as a responsible structural designer
- Experience from projects that required the design of exceptionally demanding concrete structures
- Experience in projects that required consideration of the safety and trust aspect
- Tasks may require working in security-classified projects, so we require the implementation of a basic security clearance if necessary
- Problem solving ability and good teamwork skills in multiprofessional projects
- Enthusiastic, positive and independent approach to work
- Excellent written and oral expression of the Finnish language
- You want to guide and support younger designers and you like working in the customer interface
- The work requires site visits
- Considered an advantage;
- Use of Tekla, Revit and AutoCAD design programs and experience of site service
- Qualifications of concrete structure designer (KOR / new construction), steel structure designer and building physics designer
