Software trainer (implementation advisor)

Role Summary

What we are looking for: We are looking for a person who wants to take on new challenges, who is organized and dynamic. Our clientele mainly includes cities, municipalities, MRCs and intermunicipal authorities in Quebec. Thus, you will have to support our clients in learning our various municipal management software, while being a key player in achieving their learning objectives. Job description: In a stimulating work environment focused on collaboration and teamwork, you will have the opportunity to achieve your professional goals. Under the supervision of the project manager, you will work on several stimulating and enriching files. Your main tasks will be:

• Advise and train our customers on the use of our various software;
• Ensure the achievement of learning objectives;
• Develop lesson plans;
• Plan the material to be seen during the sessions;
• Participate in the web academy by developing training courses;
• Produce training capsules using Synthesia;
• Be able to travel to customers (on occasion and upon request only);
• Bring your ideas to improve the learning process;

Integrate and effectively use artificial intelligence tools in its daily activities, in particular to optimize training and improve the effectiveness of interventions.

Professional skills: If you have a college diploma/bachelor's degree in accounting or any other discipline deemed relevant or equivalent experience as a trainer as well as the following skills:

• Have good knowledge of accounting (GL, Customers, Suppliers, Payroll) – minimum 1 to 2 years of experience;
• Demonstrate good teaching skills;
• Have good abilities to coordinate different professional activities;
• Have excellent ability to adapt and react;
• Be an excellent team player, have a positive attitude and an open mind;
• Be able to maintain professional relationships even in difficult situations;
• Have a good command of French (both written and spoken);
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• Strong interest and openness to integrating artificial intelligence tools into daily work;
• Bonus points if you have knowledge of municipal accounting.
