Role Summary
In this role, you are a central part of our service team in the Airport & Logistics area. You ensure that our complex intralogistics and airport systems are operated reliably, safely and efficiently worldwide. Your goal is to quickly resolve technical faults, minimize downtime and professionally support our customers on site.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out maintenance and inspection work on intralogistics and airport systems
- Analysis, diagnosis and elimination of technical faults to ensure smooth system operation
- Testing and wiring sensors and actuators as well as carrying out electrical measurements
- Reading and understanding circuit diagrams and PLC programs as well as making minor adjustments to the PLC software
- Checking bus systems and safety devices
- Carrying out mechanical work such as drilling, welding and metalworking according to technical drawings
- Technical support and advice for customers on site to strengthen long-term customer relationships
- Documentation of service calls including reports on maintenance, repairs and optimization recommendations
Requirements
- Completed training in the field of mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification
- At least 2 years of professional experience as a service technician in the airport and logistics sector, ideally in an international environment
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering, mechanics and control technology (PLC)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as a confident demeanor with customers
- High willingness to travel for national and international assignments
- Internationally valid driving license
- Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
