Senior Network Engineer (m/w/d)

Role Summary

You install, configure and administer our highly available and secure network infrastructure

You drive the further development of our IT services and integrate them into a modern, scalable network architecture based on HPE/Aruba and Fortinet

You develop and implement modern network and security architectures, e.g. B. in the areas of network access control, ZTNA and segmentation

You analyze existing infrastructures, identify optimization potential and transfer them into powerful next-generation environments, taking current security standards and best practices into account

You analyze complex network, security and routing topics in detail and resolve complex disruptions in a structured and sustainable manner

You work closely with our infrastructure, security, enterprise architecture and support teams and promote the exchange of knowledge within the company

Requirements

• You have a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of experience in network technology and network security
• You have in-depth knowledge of network technologies such as routing, switching and firewalling
• You have in-depth knowledge of Aruba Central, NAC, WLAN and CheckMK
• You are familiar with related areas such as server infrastructure, security solutions and performance monitoring
• You are familiar with ITIL, Kanban and PRINCE2
• You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
