Role Summary

• Preparation, analysis and quality assurance of consolidated financial statements of the Gerresheimer Group according to IFRS
• Preparation of the consolidated cash flow statements
• Plausibility check and analysis of reporting data from the subsidiaries as well as explanation of the changes and control of the reporting processes
• Driver of the further development of the IFRS accounting guidelines as well as the processes and procedures within group accounting
• Processing complex issues in the context of accounting and writing technical statements
• Support in the development and implementation of group-wide accounting methods
• Advising and supporting subsidiaries on various issues in accounting according to IFRS, accounting processes and projects
• Close communication with auditors and other stakeholders
• Taking on special tasks in group-wide projects in the financial sector

Requirements

• Successfully completed business studies - ideally with a focus on international accounting
• Several years of relevant professional experience in an internationally active, capital market-oriented industrial company
• Strong specialist knowledge of accounting and reporting according to IFRS; In-depth knowledge of hedge accounting, revenue recognition, leasing and consolidation is an advantage
• Enthusiasm for analyzing business processes at company and group level as well as for defining and implementing best practice solutions
• Team player with a structured and independent way of working and high quality standards in a dynamic environment
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services such as Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
• Ideally experience in dealing with SAP R/3 (FI), SAP S4/HANA as well as Infor (consolidation software) and Smart Notes
• Very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
