Senior Financial Accountant

Role Summary

Manage and execute the activities of General Ledger (GL), ensuring the correct accounting of operations and the integrity of financial information, in close collaboration with the department's management.

Coordinate and actively participate in monthly and annual accounting closings, guaranteeing the reliability of financial information.

Prepare and review financial statements and annual accounts, ensuring compliance with current accounting regulations.

Coordinate the preparation of internal and external audits, providing the required documentation and acting as interlocutor for the financial area.

Analyze the main financial indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing actions to optimize processes.

Promote automation, standardization and continuous improvement initiatives of financial processes, collaborating with other departments to guarantee efficient and transversal management of financial operations.

Prepare periodic reports for management and participate in the implementation of new procedures and tools.

Participate in carrying out semi-annual stock inventories, ensuring correct verification, reconciliation and control of stocks together with the teams involved.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related disciplines.
• English level C1 or higher (essential).
• Minimum experience of 3 years in areas of Finance Operations, Accounting, Controlling or similar positions.
• Solid knowledge of general accounting (General Ledger), accounting closings and preparation of financial statements.
• High analytical capacity, results orientation and experience in continuous process improvement.
