Food Safety Auditor

Role Summary

We are looking for professionals Food Engineers, Food Technologists, Agronomists, Veterinarians or related careers for Quality and Food Safety Systems Auditor.

Basic training

• Graduate, Diploma or graduate (Biologist, Chemist, Pharmacist, Veterinarian, Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Technical Engineer, Food Science and Technology).
• Intermediate or higher level training cycle in agri-food studies.

Responsibilities

Main functions

• Carry out audits according to client requirements.
• Plan and monitor assigned activities.
• Coordinate and execute assigned sampling when appropriate.
• Document and control the management indicators associated with their functions.
• Execute activities according to company standards.
• Preparation of audit reports.
• Cooperate with the Technical Certification Manager of the Entity.

Requirements

Additional training

• General knowledge of regulations and legislation in the agri-food field.
• Knowledge of the certification process.
• General knowledge of ISO 17065 Standard.
• Training in Animal Welfare, qualification for the Welfair Quality® protocol will be considered.

Exclusive requirements

• Minimum 3 months in an auditor position or with similar tasks in a Certification Entity. Experience in a technical or similar position in agri-food companies in the primary and/or secondary sector will be valued.
• Proficient in conducting audits of quality, food safety and/or environmental standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, IFS, BRC Food, BRC Packaging)
• Management of PC Office at a medium or higher level (Word, Excel, PPT).
• Availability to travel to other regions.
• Class B driver's license.
