Role Summary

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier quality operations to verify materials and components meet strict quality standards
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions with suppliers to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence
• Track and process supplier quality indicators to identify improvement opportunities and drive performance improvements
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to team members to deal with complex quality challenges

• Analytical Thinking - Intermediate level evaluates supplier data to identify root causes and trends
• Supplier Quality Management - Intermediate level ensures purchased parts meet specifications and standards
• Production Part Approval Process - Intermediate level verification of supplier readiness and part compliance
• Ethical Integrity - Intermediate Level Maintains compliance and transparency in supplier relationships
• Audit - Development level supplier assessment to verify quality system
• Advance product quality planning - Development level and collaboration with suppliers to prepare for product launch
• Statistical Process Control - Development level monitoring of process capabilities and stability indicators
• Strong problem-solving skills and a successful record of independently driving problem solving
• Collaborative approach able to work with cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Ability to mentor others and provide technical leadership on non-routine quality matters
• Flexibility to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic manufacturing environment
