Design Leader Cooling

Role Summary

We are looking for a Design Leader Cooling with a focus on Data Center and Power Modules projects. This professional will be responsible for the technical leadership of air conditioning and heat rejection systems, ensuring the development of solutions that adhere to customer requirements, technical standards and Schneider Electric's quality assumptions.

Will be responsible for coordinating and executing engineering activities related to Cooling systems during all phases of the project, including design, development, manufacturing, integration, installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of air conditioning solutions for Data Centers and Power Modules.
• Coordinate projects involving DX systems, Chillers, CRAH, CRAC, In-row Cooling and other applicable technologies.
• Define refrigeration architectures aligned with customer availability and energy efficiency requirements.
• Ensure technical compatibility between Cooling systems and other engineering disciplines.
• Lead and perform technical analyses, design reviews and document validation.
• Support technical interfaces with customers, suppliers and global teams.
• Ensure compliance with Schneider Electric, ASHRAE, TIA-942 standards and other applicable requirements.
• Support manufacturing, factory testing (FAT), installation and commissioning.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Control and Automation Engineering or related areas.
• Experience in Data Centers, E-Houses or critical infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems for critical applications.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit 3D.
• Intermediate or advanced English.
• Spanish will be considered an advantage.
