Role Summary

This is a remote position.

Why this role matters

In mobile games, data isn’t just numbers — it’s player stories, monetization insight, and growth direction.

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to turn raw gameplay data into powerful insights that help us build better games. You’ll work at the intersection of analytics, design, and product, using data to inform features, fine-tune balance, and steer the roadmap.

If you love solving high-impact questions, designing experiments, and diving into millions of player actions — you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze player behavior to improve retention, progression, and monetization
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests to validate features, pricing models, and game design decisions
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools that democratize data for product and game teams
  • Collaborate with product managers, game designers, and live ops to guide strategy
  • Define and track key game KPIs like D1/D7 retention, LTV, ARPU, and churn
  • Develop predictive models to anticipate player behavior and optimize engagement
  • Communicate complex findings simply and clearly to cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in data science or product analytics
  • Strong skills in SQL , Python , and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or similar)
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets, preferably in mobile or gaming
  • Deep understanding of A/B testing, statistical modeling , and causal inference
  • Familiar with core game KPIs and monetization models (F2P, IAPs, ads, subscriptions)
  • Comfortable owning analytics end-to-end — from data exploration to business impact
  • Clear communicator who can turn data into product direction

About the Company

  • Work on live games with millions of daily players and real-time impact
  • A team that values experimentation, iteration, and learning fast
  • Competitive compensation, performance bonuses, and equity options
  • Flexible work schedule, remote-first culture, and zero bureaucracy
  • Game time is part of the job — seriously
