Role Summary
Due to growth and our continued success with clients, Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division in the Netherlands is looking for a qualified and experienced Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
You will end up in a successful team, where you will have the opportunity to quickly develop your career and take direct responsibility for ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating and building good relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
- Carrying out pre- and post-contract tasks in the field of quantity surveying, including preparing cost estimates, purchasing and tendering processes, contract administration, changes (variations), final settlement, etc.
- Carrying out cost estimates and cost planning, including preparing and presenting the final cost plan.
- Leading the tender and purchasing process, including managing the pre-qualification phase, drawing up the tender list, compiling the preliminaries, tender analyses, preparing tender reports and compiling contract documents.
- Able to provide high-quality cost estimates, validations and cost analyzes within complex projects.
Requirements
- HBO or WO background in technology, business administration, project management, econometrics, technical business administration or similar.
- In-depth SSK expertise (SSK methodology for cost estimates and guidelines).
- Experience with UAVgc contracts, RAW and open book contracts, i.r.t. cost management
- Thorough knowledge of Dutch cost norms, standards and market prices.
- Benchmarking skills to perform cost comparisons, market analyzes and cost data evaluations.
