We are looking for security analysts who want to work on the front line of Norwegian cyber security. Whether you are relatively new to the subject and eager to learn, or an experienced analyst who has dealt with real events. We have room for you.

What awaits you?

As a security analyst at Sopra Steria, you will be part of one of Norway's strongest professional environments within Detection & Response. You work closely at the customer's security center and help discover, analyze and deal with cyber threats in real time. Our consultants work with everything from threat detection and SIEM monitoring to digital investigation and Threat Intelligence at some of Norway's most critical businesses.

What will the work tasks entail?

You will monitor, analyze and respond to security incidents in SOC environments, while helping to develop and improve detection rules and automation. You will also carry out threat analyzes and support the work with Threat Intelligence, as well as participate in incident management and digital investigation. In addition, you will advise clients on how to strengthen their security monitoring and response capabilities.

Requirements

You are curious, analytical and enjoy digging into logs, alarms and anomalies. Perhaps you have experience from SOC, CERT or Incident Response. Whatever your background: you have a genuine interest in understanding how attackers think.

We are looking for you who have experience with, or an interest in, SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel or similar. You are familiar with frameworks such as MITER ATT&CK and are able to apply these in practice. Furthermore, you have expertise in one or more subject areas, such as Threat Hunting, Malware analysis, Digital Forensics or Threat Intelligence. You are comfortable working under pressure when relevant, and have relevant education in IT security, informatics or similar.
