Quality manager (all genders) at mammaly in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

• You are part of the product team and are responsible for the entire quality area and compliance with feed standards at Mammaly.
• You are in intensive contact with our suppliers, carry out regular audits and accept important productions on site.
• You regularly analyze customer complaints and check inventory.
• Close collaboration with our warehouse and production site teams, including regular business trips for on-site meetings and coordination.
• Conduct detailed root cause analyses, investigations and implement corrective actions.
• You lead quality initiatives across departments and ensure that they are implemented with your internal and external stakeholders.
• You will lead the further development of internal quality assurance and quality management. Implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems in operations, including document management, creation of SOPs, forms and policies.

Requirements

• A completed degree in the field of food technology, food chemistry, food process engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable scientific and technical field.
• Several years of professional experience in the food, pet food, supplement or functional food industry - ideally in product development, R&D, food technology or quality management.
• You have practical experience in industrial manufacturing and have already accompanied production tests, sampling or process optimization directly on the line or together with production partners.
• You have experience in quality assurance and quality control, ideally including laboratory analysis, complaints processing, CAPA and release processes. You have a good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements in food or feed law
• You have a high willingness to travel and the flexibility to be available for on-site appointments with our partners at short notice if necessary.
• You work analytically, structured and solution-oriented and have very good knowledge of German and English.
