QA Automation Engineer

Role Summary

CI/CD and DevOps

Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions.

Understanding of DevOps best practices.

APIs and Microservices

Experience with REST API testing (Postman, Insomnia, SoapUI).

Tools

Experience with Zephyr (a plus).

Mastery of bug management tools (JIRA, etc.).

Responsibilities

The consultant will be in charge of

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs, microservices and platforms.
• Automate regression, performance and smoke testing.
• CI/CD integration
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize pipelines for fast and reliable test execution.
• Collaboration with the QA Lead
• Contribute to the definition of the test automation strategy.
• Participate in the review of functional requirements and the definition of acceptance criteria.
• Analysis of results
• Run automated tests and analyze results to identify anomalies.
• Report bugs in a clear and detailed manner (via JIRA, Zephyr, etc.).
• Continuous improvement
• Propose improvements to the automation frameworks and tools used.
• Participate in resolving technical problems related to platforms.

Requirements

Bac+5 in IT with 5 years experience

• Proven experience in test automation (Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, Postman, etc.).
• Mastery of scripting/programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, etc.).

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with developers and DevOps.
• Problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Fluent English
