Role Summary

The “Transport” division faces new technological, reliability and environmental impact reduction challenges. Transporting is no longer enough, we must be there at all times: ensuring service and new services. For this, Sopra Steria experts work in particular on railway production, the passenger journey, new postal services, omni-channel sales, data management and asset management.

The professional expertise developed within the projects of our Lille agency concerns in particular the following areas:

• Operational maintenance and modernization of railway infrastructure for the transport of users and goods.
• Development of communication applications for travelers.
• Maintenance and evolution of these on-board applications and the transition to the ticketing of tomorrow.

Our teams work closely with our customers to promote agility on strategic application development projects.

As part of our development with our major clients in the world of transport, we are looking for a Project Manager with significant initial experience in these functions and wishing to evolve quickly in a stimulating context.

Your role and missions

• Come express your creativity and your taste for challenges through the following missions:
• You organize and manage all phases of the project, from the expression of needs through to production but also the monitoring of applications in production
• You ensure project indicators and reporting
• You ensure projects are completed on time
• You coordinate all Customer and Service Provider players and align all stakeholders
• You contribute to the preparation of the various workshop/decision materials
• You provide support to different users/business
• You coordinate major incidents and the actions to be implemented to resolve them

You participate in the permanent improvement of processes, procedures, standards and methods, respect them and ensure their application within the framework of managed projects.

Alongside your mission, you can also work on cross-functional subjects, such as becoming a trainer on the subjects that interest you or participating in challenges around innovation and digital.

Requirements

• You are recognized for your listening skills, your interpersonal skills, your rigor and your leadership.
• You have significant experience in providing services to external clients in the management of IT development projects (project management) with the management of internal production teams and/or subcontractors.
• Graduate of an engineering school or university equivalent, you have at least 7 years of experience in project management.
