Project Manager - Transformation IT - Services Publics - Rennes

Role Summary

The “Public Services” division brings together all the players who carry out a public service mission in the areas of employment and social issues. Our clients include social protection, health, retirement and family organizations, and also major players in the employment sector and large entities attached to the Ministry of the Economy and Finance. Our global presence in the ecosystem for many years and in-depth knowledge of our clients' businesses are a major asset in responding to the major transformation challenges implied by State reforms.

With the support of an experienced project manager or a project director, you are responsible for managing a Sopra Steria team (5-10 people), responsible for delivering results-driven services within our clients' information systems transformation projects (software development / systems integration / application maintenance).

Your role and missions

You act on all the components of the project described below and the support made available to you will allow you to progress in the management of projects of simple to medium complexity:

You guarantee the fulfillment of our commitments to the customer (delivery, costs, deadlines, quality).

You lead the relationship with your customer contacts, and develop a relationship of trust.

You lead, plan and prioritize your team's tasks, and you monitor their progress and guarantee compliance with processes to ensure the quality of the various deliverables, independently.

You support the development of the skills of your team's employees and ensure the consistency of their activities with their trajectory.

You ensure the economic and financial monitoring of your projects (turnover, profitability, productivity).

You ensure reporting to your customers and your Sopra Steria management.

You participate in the development of Sopra Steria's activities within your scope.

The position is scalable, the Project Manager sector is dynamic through a community of sharing experiences and best practices with peers, and allows progression towards positions with greater responsibility as experienced project manager and project director.

Requirements

• You have an appetite for managing innovative projects, an entrepreneurial desire (proactivity) & an ability to motivate and convince your team to keep your commitments.
• You know how to adapt to a constantly evolving customer & business context.
• Your interpersonal skills and your sense of service no longer need to be demonstrated. You are passionate about project management and team management, demonstrate rigor, method and you have a sense of teamwork.
• Knowledge of the public sector is not essential: we will train you in this area through training courses led by operational staff.
• You have completed Bac+5 training (Engineering School or university training or equivalent training), or you have initial experience managing a small production team.
