We are looking for an engineer with experience in designing systems for control, measurement, protection and self-consumption of VVN electrical stations. In this position, you will work on projects in electrical transmission systems, renewable energy sources and data centers in the global market.

Responsibilities

• You design engineering solutions, including electrical diagrams and calculations according to contractual specifications and technical standards.
• You prepare overview drawings, diagrams of AC/DC power supply, blocking, lists of cables, terminals.
• You prepare a detailed list of materials for tendering or implementation.
• You propose the calculation of battery sizing, protection settings, sizing of instrument transformers.
• You develop the technical specifications of the secondary equipment of the power station and check the supplier's drawings.
• Solve technical questions from the client or the implementation team and provide them with solutions.
• You provide support to project management, including the definition of the scope of delivery according to technical contracts and equipment procurement.
• You regularly report the activities and status of the project to the department manager. You coordinate technical decisions about the project with the engineering project manager.
• You apply Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means that you take responsibility for your actions while looking after the safety and integrity of your colleagues and the company.

Employee requirements

• University education I. or II. degree in the field of electrical engineering or energy
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of the Slovak language at C2 level
• Knowledge of the English language at least at B1 level
• Knowledge of the German language is an advantage
• Experience with CAD/CAE applications
• Understanding project planning and project relationships
• Pro-customer approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Wage conditions (gross)

2,000 EUR/month

• Plus an annual bonus of 15%. The indicated amount of the gross monthly salary is the lowest limit. The actual salary will be set based on the candidate's experience and will be specified at the personal interview.
