Project Engineer - Electrical Studies (Talent Bank) at Hitachi Energy in São Paulo, Brazil.

Role Summary

Develop electrical study projects in your area/discipline of Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, among others), which may include a complete project of lesser complexity or part of a larger project, through the definition of those involved, scope, schedule and monitoring of the same, guiding the detailing of electrical study projects, the elaboration of execution plans, methods and processes to be followed, as well as monitoring and guaranteeing the development, installation, testing and commissioning within the agreed deadlines and meeting the established costs, quality and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out basic research and analysis activities, as well as participate in carrying out calculations necessary for projects, collecting data, technical information and necessary documentation to support the development of projects.
  • Implement electrical study projects in your area of activity, through the application of techniques and methodologies pre-established in the scope and schedule, as well as data analysis, reports and indicators.
  • Participate in the execution and implementation of electrical study projects, by carrying out and monitoring established activities, according to the approved scope and schedule, checking the quality, deadlines and costs established in deliveries.
  • Support in the identification of deviations and/or activities outside the established standard and alternatives to optimize processes and results.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical and financial feasibility studies, as well as project budgets to contribute to the development of commercial proposals and presentations.
  • Participate in the administration of contracts for the supply of equipment and services related to the engineering area, including the identification of requests for variations that may generate contractual changes.
  • Support risk assessments and resulting implementations in designated areas.
  • Contribute to the Supply area in specifying the materials, equipment and services required, including reviewing and indicating qualified suppliers, evaluating work proposals, among others.
  • Monitor and control, if necessary, the activities of Technicians and Administrative Officers assigned to projects.
  • Interact with customers, participating in meetings, providing technical information, presenting project engineering details, implementation support and others necessary for their satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Higher education in Engineering, preferably in Electrical and Electronics.
  • Project management.
  • Methodologies and tools for project development.
  • Calculation software for electrical power systems.
  • Advanced English (essential)
