Role Summary

We are looking for a professional to lead the production of our new industrial operation in the Energy segment in Pindamonhangaba/SP. The selected professional will have the mission of ensuring the efficient transformation of raw materials into finished products, ensuring compliance with standards, controlling budgeted costs and developing local high-performance multifunctional teams.

Manufacturing Integration Dynamics: the vacancy is to work in person in Pindamonhangaba, however, as this is the start of a new plant in this region, the entire initial phase of integration, alignment of global processes and cultural immersion will take place at our unit in Guarulhos/SP. This stage in Guarulhos will take place for a determined period until the completion of the works and release of the Pindamonhangaba factory, requiring availability for this initial dynamic of operations at the headquarters.

Responsibilities

How you will make a difference

  • Coordinate the daily production activities of the boilermaking area, ensuring adequate execution and compliance with the technical specifications of the various processes in the production chain such as laser cutting, bending, welding (manual and robotic), machining, painting and inspections, ensuring compliance with goals, deadlines, quality standards and availability of resources (materials, tools, equipment, etc.) for efficient execution of production orders.
  • Ensure that production planning and scheduling meets the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan and the inventory service levels defined through the coordination of production activities, optimization of resources and interface with other areas of the business / manufacturing plant.
  • Maintain organized teams with qualified people through the provision of training, supervision, motivation and development of the team of direct and indirect collaborators in Human Resources policies, with an emphasis on leadership and people development, with the support of the internal HR consultant, in his area of responsibility. Manage team allocation and work schedules according to production priorities.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives, such as standardization, waste reduction and layout optimization in addition to suggesting and leading technical improvements in the various manufacturing processes.
  • Meet the requirements, global guidelines and legislation in force in the country, as well as the demands arising from certifying bodies, methodologies and quality tools, also keeping the productive teams' versatility matrix updated.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Higher education preferably in mechanical technology, mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering or related areas and a postgraduate degree in welding engineering and/or qualification as a painting inspector in an accredited body (NACE, ABRACO or equivalent) will be considered a relevant advantage.
  • Experience with boilermaking and forming processes, welding, machining and industrial painting.
  • Proven experience in production and people management.
  • Desirable knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, PDCA, MASP, internal audits), lean manufacturing, welding and industrial painting standards applicable to heavy boilermaking.
  • Advanced English desirable.
  • Availability of 100% in-person work initially at the Guarulhos unit and then in Pindamonhangaba.
