Role Summary

At QIMA we are looking for an Operations Coordinator Americas to be the driving force behind the correct execution of our inspection and audit services throughout the region.

The position is based in the Mexico offices, and its coordination scope covers QIMA operations throughout the American continent (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, the United States and other markets in the region), working hand in hand with the QIMA Limited team, which provides support to the Americas.

Key Responsibilities – Operations Coordinator Americas

A dynamic role with progressive growth

This position is designed to be developed in two phases, allowing you to gain operational experience and expand your reach as you train on QIMA's internal systems.

Phase 1 – Startup: Operational Monitoring

(Initial stage, without access to internal systems)

In this first stage you will be the direct operational link between the coordination team and the operations team of QIMA Mexico. Your main responsibilities include:

Be the main point of contact between the coordination team and the operations team of QIMA México, resolving operational incidents in a timely manner.

Maintain constant and effective communication with suppliers and the internal team.

Provide proactive updates to the Customer Success team on the status of services.

Confirm with suppliers the dates scheduled for the execution of services.

Make verification calls to ensure the quality and compliance of the service provided by suppliers.

Provide comprehensive monitoring of the coordination and execution of services, from start to finish.

  • Phase 2 – Consolidation: Integration to Internal Systems
  • (Once SSO/QIMA Customer training is completed)
  • In this second stage, you will expand your reach with direct access to QIMA operating systems, assuming key functions such as:

Validate PEO services in the SSO / QIMA Customer system.

Confirm the costs of the inspectors in the system (man/days and travel expenses).

Verify and correct the correct assignment of the inspector in the system for scheduled services.

Progressively assume the operational validations currently carried out by the coordination team (QIMA Limited), reducing dependence on that shared team.

Important Note

Moving from Phase 1 to Phase 2 is subject to successful completion of internal training and certification in the use of QIMA systems. The training plan and its times will be defined together with the Operations team, guaranteeing a structured and accompanied development process.

Why is it a great opportunity?
