Operations Coordinator

Role Summary

Act as Ecas focal point at the QIMA IBD office, coordinating and monitoring NOP (USDA Organic) and EU Organic certification projects conducted under QIMA IBD accreditation.

Ensure fluid communication between Ecas and QIMA IBD, ensuring compliance with deadlines, regulatory requirements (NOP — 7 CFR Part 205; EU Organic Production Regulation) and internal certification procedures.

Monitor the progress of certification processes, identify and report deviations, and support the resolution of operational issues between the two organizations.

Contribute to the representation of Ecas among actors in the agricultural chain, brands, retail chains and public bodies in Brazil.

Requirements

• Higher education in Agronomy, Food Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related areas (postgraduate degree is an advantage)
• Knowledge of organic certification standards (NOP / EU Organic Regulation); Previous experience in certification, auditing or agriculture is desirable
• Fluency in English (reading, writing and writing reports)
• Excellent planning, coordination, analytical thinking and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a shared environment (IBD office)
• Proactivity, flexibility, solution orientation and openness to change
• Good usability of the MS Office suite
• Availability for occasional travel when necessary
• Team spirit and adaptation to remote communication with Ecas headquarters in Türkiye
