Role Summary

This is a remote position.

Negentrix Holding is an educational company with the mission to accompany people through practice-oriented training and support in integrating into the labor market in Germany.

We run four schools - MBI Academy, IT Career Hub, DWW Academy and Beam Institute of Technology - in which we qualify our participants for in-demand careers and support them from the moment of career orientation to their first job.

Our target group are people for whom German is not their native language, but for whom Germany has become a new home. We know how we can help you become part of society and integrate successfully into your career.

We help people to enter the nursing profession from scratch, to further their education, to have foreign diplomas recognized and to prepare for work in the German healthcare system. Our programs include training for nursing assistants + carers, treatment nursing LG1/LG2 as well as preparation for the knowledge test and specialist German for the medical field.

We work with participants who already live in Germany or have moved to Germany and want to build a career in nursing. The training takes place predominantly online, with part of the practical work being completed in person in the Skill Lab and with partners. The academy's website states that programs can include up to 80% online format, skill lab practice and student support in Russian.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a specialist who will support us in further developing the quality of the educational programs, the teaching materials and the preparation of students for real work in the German nursing system.

We are looking for a nursing educator / medical educator / nursing teacher with practical experience in nursing and educational qualifications.

We need someone who can not only give lessons, but also structure the training methodically: develop programs, structure learning modules and adapt materials to the level of the students and the requirements of the German healthcare system.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and updating of MBI Academy programs, including modules, case studies and tests;
  • Adapt learning content for adult students with different levels of prior knowledge;
  • Giving lessons in nursing and medical fields and preparing students for practice in Germany;
  • participate in the preparation for the knowledge test and carry out learning objective checks;
  • Assess students' knowledge and provide high-quality professional feedback;
  • Link theory, practice and examination requirements in the learning process;
  • Further develop programs for nursing assistants, carers, treatment care LG1/LG2 and recognition;
  • Collaborate with the academy team, lecturers and practice partners;

Ensure and continuously develop the high educational standards of the programs.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a nursing specialist, health and nursing assistant or geriatric nurse;
  • Study or further training in the field of nursing education, medical education or adult education;
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring or practical instruction in the field of nursing;
  • Ability to independently develop and structure teaching materials;
  • Fluent knowledge of German at C1 level, knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
  • Ability to explain complex medical topics in a simple and understandable manner;

Willingness to actively shape the educational offering instead of just giving ready-made lessons.

Desirable

  • Experience in a nursing school or medical education center;
  • Experience in preparing foreign specialists for the knowledge test and the recognition procedure;
  • Experience in developing modular curricula and conducting practical examinations;
  • Competencies as a practical instructor and experience with online learning or LMS;
  • Knowledge of Russian to effectively supervise some of the students;

Experience with support worker programs (LG1/LG2, caregiver).

Benefits
