Role Summary

Murex Back Office Consultant - Remote

We are looking for a Murex Back Office Consultant to participate in the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Murex MX.3, with a focus on Back Office operations, including settlements, confirmations, accounting and nostro reconciliation.

Experience in configuring Static Data in Murex

Settlement Instructions.

Netting Rules.

Cutoffs.

Calendars.

Knowledge of accounting principles and accounting configuration in Murex:

Accounting Schemes.

Event Mapping.

Experience working with different asset classes

FX.

Money Markets.

Fixed Income.

Derivatives.

Advanced SQL for data investigation and troubleshooting.

Experience with Murex Datamart or reporting tools is desirable.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to settlements, such as CSDR and T+1 settlement cycles, is desirable.

Advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the implementation, configuration and maintenance of Murex MX.3.
• Provide support to Back Office operations, ensuring the correct processing of the life cycle of operations.
• Work with confirmation, settlement, payment, accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Analyze and resolve incidents related to the processing of operations.
• Perform Static Data configurations, including settlement instructions, netting rules, cutoffs and calendars.
• Participate in the Murex accounting configuration, including accounting schemes and event mapping.
• Use SQL for data investigation, analysis and troubleshooting.
• Work with Operations, Finance and Technology teams to ensure the correct functioning of processes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and technical teams to ensure smooth operations lifecycle processing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Murex MX.3.
• Practical experience in the Back Office module.
• Solid knowledge of confirmation, settlement, payment, accounting and reconciliation.
• Experience with SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX formats).
