Role Summary
General Purpose
Maintain in perfect condition and operating correctly, the mechanical and electronic equipment involved with the glass processes.
ACADEMIC TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Mechatronic Technician or Electronic Technician or similar.
2 years in maintenance of mechanical and electronic equipment
Specific knowledge for the Position
Programming and control
Knowledge of mechanics, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and mechatronics
Knowledge in operation of power transmission systems.
Lubrication system.
Basic knowledge of industrial mechanics
Knowledge in industrial safety.
Welding knowledge
Basic knowledge of electricity and electronics
Responsibilities
- Receive and provide verbal or written information about the status and operation of mechanical and electronic container selection and packaging equipment.
- Daily review of the operating status of the equipment in your charge.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of the mechanical and electronic systems involved in the container selection and packaging processes.
- Analyze and solve problems in the operation of electronic equipment that guarantee the proper functioning of the production line in the cold zone area.
- Make changes in the programming of the logic controllers in the palletizing lines and container packers.
- Design and calibrate electronic control application systems for packaging management.
- Assist instrumentation personnel in troubleshooting electronic production equipment used in other departments, in emergency cases.
- Maintain the work area in perfect order and order, in accordance with industrial hygiene and safety standards.
- Participate in the assembly of new projects, carrying out the technical direction of the personnel hired to carry out this work.
- Vary the settings in the programming of electronic equipment that require it.
- Make repairs to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of machines, tools and equipment in the cold zone area both on the job site and in the workshop.
- Assimilate the information contained in plans and catalogs to carry out repairs, preparing plans of the elements required for the previous function.
- Prepare written reports on anomalies and repairs in systems
Fill out paperwork to request materials
- Carry out autogenous and electrical welding work, not specialized in maintenance and assembly tasks that require it.
- Performs all related and complementary functions of the cold zone area that are assigned to him by his immediate boss.
- Verifies the correct industrial safety conditions in all the work and assemblies carried out.
- Apply industrial safety standards permanently, as well as use personal protection elements permanently.
