Role Summary

An important company in the sector is looking to add a Mechanic II to its operations team. Your main mission will be to execute preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities for the vehicle fleet, machinery and equipment, guaranteeing accurate diagnoses, high quality repairs and continuity of operation under strict safety standards.

What will be your main challenges?

Diagnosis and Repair: Evaluate mechanical failures in vehicles and machinery. Carry out maintenance on all systems (diesel engines, general engine inspection, correction of visible faults and technical assistance on the road if necessary).

Quality Control: Perform route tests on units and general post-repair inspections to ensure they meet quality standards before returning to operation.

Metalworking Processes: Carry out basic welding and metalworking activities required for the support and care of the company's assets.

Digital Management (CMMS): Complete, report and timely close assigned work orders through the company's digital platform.

Logistics and Spare Parts: Verify specifications and quantities of the necessary spare parts. Safeguard the returned spare parts and ensure order, cleanliness and correct use of the workshop tools.

Safety and HSEQ: Immediately detect and report unsafe conditions or practices in the work environment to mitigate road, environmental or operational risks

Requirements

  • Education: Automotive Mechanics Technician, Diesel Engine Maintenance or related areas.
  • Training: Certifications or courses from SENA or endorsed educational entities related to automotive mechanics.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Repair Mechanic in automotive maintenance shops or as an Advanced Mechanics Assistant.
  • Mandatory requirement: Current Category C2 driving license (no pending summons) and availability to move vehicles inside and outside the city.
