Role Summary

Leading Designer [F/M/N]

Location: Łódź

The Lead Designer is responsible for the technical management of the power transformer project from the concept stage to completion of production and testing. It is the main point of coordination between design teams, production, purchasing and the client, ensuring project implementation in accordance with technical requirements, schedule and quality standards.

Your influence

  • Developing the mechanical concept of power transformers and preparing conceptual documentation and dimensional drawings.
  • Selection of transformer equipment, including bushings, cooling systems, conservators, tap changers and other accessories.
  • Coordination of work between design departments and cooperation with purchasing, production and testing station.
  • Supervision of project compliance with customer requirements, technical standards and internal procedures.
  • Participation in technical meetings with the client and Design Reviews.
  • Production support and solving technical problems at the project implementation stage.
  • Initiating and implementing technical improvements and standardization of design solutions.

Requirements

  • Higher technical education (Mechanics and Machine Construction, Energy, Electrical Engineering or related).
  • Experience in designing energy equipment or engineering projects.
  • Ability to read and create technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD tools.
  • Knowledge of English enabling cooperation in an international environment.
  • Ability to coordinate the work of many stakeholders and make independent technical decisions.
  • Ability to solve technical problems.
  • Responsibility, independence, good work organization and the ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate between departments.
  • Ability to solve technical problems and focus on continuous improvement.
