Role Summary

Develop all tasks related to the preparation of elements, space and environment required for testing and testing of materials.

Ensure proper handling of test samples and carry out tests in compliance with the technical and quality standards applicable in the laboratory for tests authorized by the immediate supervisor, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard NTC-ISO/IEC 17025.

Comply with the commitments acquired with the client according to the schedule received, and must inform their immediate boss of any deviations that arise during the process.

Complete all records related to the tests carried out and deliver them to the indicated official or superior, according to the established procedure and guarantee the confidentiality of client information.

Maintain the laboratory and equipment in optimal operating conditions, both technical and hygienic, to guarantee the safety of the work areas assigned to the position.

Develop their work within a framework of total ethics, which generates in the client, reliability and credibility in the suitability of the personnel who carries out the procedure and the results presented, which involves their obligation to inform the Immediate Manager if undue pressures arise, whether internal or external, that may adversely affect the quality of the work.

Carry out care tasks and keep the assigned vehicle in perfect condition and report any news that arises regarding its operation.

Receive and verify the collection route of material samples received daily and fulfill it efficiently to complete it, according to the requirements made by clients in the projects or works; on which you must verify that they receive their respective results report, which you must deliver under the established procedure.

Interact in each of the projects or works to be visited with the Engineer or warehouseman in charge of delivering samples to be collected, of which he must verify that they are completely completed, according to the procedure

Drive the transport vehicle in an agile, timely and efficient manner, observing established routes, transfers and schedules.

Operate and be responsible for the proper use of the vehicle and/or machinery, tools and annexed elements assigned to you.

Carry out the daily review of the status of the assigned vehicle and/or machinery in accordance with the requirements and in conditions of quality and timeliness.

Verify that the maintenance of the vehicle and/or machinery assigned to carry out their work is carried out and guarantee its care and custody, according to existing procedures.

Observe traffic rules, protocols and documentation necessary for the operation of the vehicle and/or provision of the service.

Organize, clean and maintain the equipment, equipment and facilities arranged for the maintenance, care and conservation of work elements in optimal conditions of hygiene and cleanliness.

Guarantee the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, complying with the Procedures, the characterizations of the processes and the Work Instructions that have to do with its normal performance.

Carry out unloading tasks of logistics vehicles under the required conditions to guarantee the custody of the samples.

Other tasks inherent to the position, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the company's activities.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor and/or technician or technologist in areas related to construction
  • Experience: Six (6) months of general experience in laboratories and/or projects, in positions related to quality control of construction materials.
  • M - F 7: 30 am - 4:30 pm Saturdays 7:00 am to 11:30 pm
  • Monday - Friday 10: 00 am - 7:00 pm Saturdays 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
