Role Summary
Our IT team is responsible for the support and evolution of several essential services for the company, such as operating systems, virtualization, authentication services, databases, monitoring, networks and information security, serving both internal and customer environments.
The main objective of the Infrastructure Analyst – Linux position is to work on the support and evolution of Linux environments, with a strong focus on information security, vulnerability correction, patch management and maintaining the availability of services.

Work with the monitoring and customer support team.
Monitor monitoring consoles.
Handle alert events.
Changing hardware resources in Virtual servers.
Notify actions taken to the team.
Monitor the team's Communication group.
Activation of support teams.
Answering telephone calls.
Expected experience
Experience in administering corporate Linux environments.
Experience in critical and high availability environments.
Experience in vulnerability correction, hardening and patch management.
Experience in troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Experience in technical support N2 or N3.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities and duties
- Work on the support and operation of corporate Linux environments and customer environments.
- Perform recurring activities to correct security vulnerabilities, in accordance with internal guidelines and good practices.
- Apply patches and security updates to operating systems and Linux services, ensuring stability, availability and compliance of environments.
- Analyze, treat and monitor security and infrastructure incidents, problems and alerts.
- Work together with Information Security, Monitoring and other areas to mitigate risks and resolve incidents.
- Administer services and applications running on Linux servers.
- Perform operational routines, preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Register, document and communicate the activities carried out, maintaining history and traceability of actions.
- Interact with customers, internal teams and suppliers to resolve technical demands.
- Activate support teams whenever necessary, according to defined processes.
- Participate in on-call shifts, when necessary.
Requirements
Technical requirements
- Administration of Linux distributions, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Oracle Linux or CentOS.
- Administration of services such as Apache, NGINX, SSH, Samba, NFS and Bind (DNS).
- Knowledge in package management (YUM/DNF/APT) and patch management.
- Knowledge in service management (systemd) and task scheduling (cron).
- Administration of users, groups, permissions, ACLs and Linux file systems.
- Knowledge of LVM, disk mounting and storage management.
- Knowledge in virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi).
- Knowledge in monitoring using Zabbix or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Shell Script (Bash) for routine automation.
- Understanding networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall and SSH).
- Knowledge of hardening Linux servers and good security practices.
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys, Nessus or similar) will be considered an advantage.

Desirable certifications
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) (differential).
- LPIC-1 or LPIC-2.
- Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS).
- ITIL Foundation.
- Certifications in Information Security (Security+, SC-900 or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.
