Role Summary
Our IT team is responsible for the support and evolution of several essential services for the company, such as infrastructure, virtualization, operating systems, databases, monitoring, backup, networks and information security, serving both internal and customer environments.
The main objective of the Senior FinOps Analyst position is to work in the financial management of IT infrastructure, promoting governance, predictability and cost optimization of technological environments. The professional will be responsible for analyzing indicators, supporting the pricing of services, carrying out capacity planning and contributing to the efficient use of infrastructure resources.
We are looking for professionals with an analytical profile, business vision, good communication skills and ease in transforming data into strategic information, contributing to the continuous improvement of infrastructure financial management.

Work with the monitoring and customer support team.
Monitor monitoring consoles.
Handle alert events.
Changing hardware resources in Virtual servers.
Notify actions taken to the team.
Monitor the team's Communication group.
Activation of support teams.
Answering telephone calls.
Responsibilities and duties
Carry out financial management of on-premises IT infrastructure.
Prepare cost studies and support the pricing of internal services and services available to customers.
Analyze the consumption of CPU, memory, storage, licensing and other infrastructure resources.
Identify opportunities to optimize resources and reduce operational costs.
Prepare financial and operational indicators for the IT infrastructure.
Perform activities related to capacity planning.
Develop Showback and Chargeback models for infrastructure services.
Control costs related to virtualization, databases, backup, monitoring, storage and licensing.
Prepare management reports and dashboards to monitor infrastructure costs.
Interact with technical teams, managers and other areas to gather information and support financial analysis.
Participate in initiatives for continuous improvement of infrastructure financial management processes.
Expected experience
Experience in financial management of IT infrastructure.
Experience in cost analysis and consumption of technological resources.
Experience in developing management indicators and dashboards.
Experience in capacity planning.
Experience in medium or large corporate environments.
Requirements
Technical requirements
- Knowledge of FinOps practices applied to IT infrastructure.
- Experience in financial analysis of infrastructure, operational costs (OPEX) and investments (CAPEX).
- Knowledge in pricing infrastructure services and preparing cost models.
- Knowledge in Capacity Planning, Showback and Chargeback.
- Knowledge of virtualized environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Knowledge of server infrastructure, storage, backup, databases and monitoring.
- Knowledge in software licensing (Microsoft, VMware, Oracle or similar) will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, formulas and data analysis.
- Knowledge of Power BI for building dashboards and indicators.
- Knowledge in Power Query will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL for queries and data extraction will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools, such as Zabbix and Grafana, will be considered an advantage.

Training and courses
- Complete higher education in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Production Engineering, Administration, Economics, Accounting or related areas.
- Courses focused on FinOps, Financial Management, Power BI, Data Analysis, IT Governance or Infrastructure Management will be considered differentials.
- Desirable certifications
- FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP).
- ITIL Foundation.
- Microsoft PL-300 – Power BI Data Analyst Associate (differential).
- Certifications related to IT Governance, Financial Management or Service Management will be considered an advantage.
