Role Summary

• Get an overview of purchasing processes
• Prepare Documentation of material contributions to machining suppliers
• Confirm and pursue delivery dates for machining orders
• Update new payment terms in SAP
• Prepare comparison of offers from machining suppliers
• Negotiate and award machining orders
• Make physical and digital files of orders
• Collect, issue and send technical evaluations to machining suppliers
• Request and interpret technical offers

Requirements

Organization Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Materials Engineer, Industrial Management Engineering, Production / Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering

• Microsoft Office
• Use of 2D (Autocad) and 3D (Inventor) drawing programs, selection of materials and calculation of structures
• Basic knowledge of numerical control machining (desirable)
• Basic knowledge in the manufacture of parts (desirable)
• English language (intermediate level) in addition to speaking Spanish
• Extroverted character, you have to talk/contact a lot with suppliers
• Orderly and Responsible
• Communicative and proactive

• Scholarship: €700 gross (full time 35h/week)

About the Company

Bosch Manufacturing Solutions is a department for the construction of machines and assembly lines for the rest of the Bosch group's factories and in the purchasing department we handle all the purchases made for the construction projects of these machines.

Although it is a purchasing department, there is a lot of technique involved, since the parts we order manufactured are 90% prototypes and there is a lot of repetition of tolerances, dimensions, etc. in the plans that we have to clarify with the different machining suppliers.

Experience tells us that at the end of the internship the student gets very good experience in machining manufacturing processes, tolerances, and raw materials available on the market for their future.
