Industrial Project Manager – SEVESO Site

Role Summary

As a Project Manager M/F, on our SEVESO classified production site, you study, build new installations (infrastructure, production, utilities) and optimize existing installations at the Aigues-Vives site. You manage complex projects with an investment budget of up to $5,000,000, ensuring compliance with costs, quality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Project management

Study a portfolio of investment projects in collaboration with the functions concerned: quotes, supporting notes, functional specifications, cost calculation and schedule

• Manage and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, throughout the process
• Establish technical specifications, resolve problems and ensure compliance of design and construction stages
• Write investment requests (Capital Proposal) and ensure responsibility for compliance with costs, quality and deadlines
• Record and control scope changes and obtain appropriate permissions
• Management & reporting
• Provide stakeholders with regular status reports (progress, difficulties, deadlines, costs, quality, HSES objectives)
• Carry out project reviews, collect lessons and share them within the company
• Participate in process risk analyzes (PRA) and guarantee the adequacy of installations with legal and regulatory constraints
• Technical support & expertise
• Maintain and develop expertise linked to site-specific equipment (technology monitoring)
• Participate in the preparation of operating authorization application files for new entities or modifications to existing installations
• Collaborate with internal services (CPG, T&P) and external partners (suppliers, engineering and industrial security service providers)

Requirements

• Training & experience
• Bac+5 in Industrial Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial project management, ideally in the process industry

Technical skills

• Mastery of planning methods: PERT, GANTT, MS Project
• Knowledge of tools: Autocad, SAP, Pack Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously and calculate return on investment
• English level B2 (international work environment)
• Soft skills

• Method, anticipation and strength of proposal
• Ability to bring together a project team and promote feedback
• Calm responsiveness to unforeseen situations

• Travel: No regular travel planned (one-off missions possible on other sites or with suppliers, in France or abroad)
• Working time: Flat rate framework 207 days
