Role Summary

Lead the management of Safety, Occupational Health and Environment (HSE) in Peru, ensuring compliance with current Peruvian legislation, Grid Automation corporate standards and customer requirements, providing comprehensive support to projects from the planning phase to commissioning. Based on Law No. 29783 and its Regulations, S.D. No. 005-2012-TR.

How are you going to generate impact

  • Maintain Grid Automation's HSE Management System for Peru and support the legal corporate requirements.
  • Guarantee legal and corporate compliance in offices, in the testing workshop and in projects.
  • Prepare and update the IPERC, legal matrices, training programs and HSE plans.
  • Participate in risk reviews during tenders and project execution.
  • Supervise contractors and field personnel in the installation, commissioning and maintenance activities of automation systems and substations.
  • Lead incident investigations, inspections and audits.
  • Manage HSE indicators and reports for the regional organization.
  • Coordinate training and activities to strengthen the preventive culture.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations, procedures and guidelines

Requirements

  • Professional in industrial, environmental engineering, occupational health and safety or related careers.
  • Specialization or diploma in Safety and Health at Work.
  • Training in ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years in HSE positions.
  • Experience in electrical projects, substations, automation, energy, industrial areas of at least 3 years.
  • Experience in managing contractors and field activities.
  • Practical knowledge in audits, incident investigation and risk management.
  • Knowledge of Law 29783 and Regulation S.D. 005-2012-TR.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Knowledge of IPERC, work permits, incident investigation and emergency plans.
  • Experience in contractor management.
  • Experience in electrical safety, hazardous energies (LOTO), work at height and commissioning activities.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Management of Microsoft 365 and Power BI (desirable).
