Role Summary

In this role you install, maintain and repair high-voltage equipment at customer locations. You contribute to the safe, reliable and efficient operation of our systems and are an important link in our service organization.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, testing, inspecting and maintaining equipment such as transformers, switches and other high-voltage installations.
  • Analyze and resolve malfunctions using specialized measuring and diagnostic equipment.
  • Carrying out urgent interventions to minimize downtime for customers.
  • Support and advise customers on the correct use and maintenance of the installations.
  • Preparing clear and accurate service reports.
  • Work in accordance with the applicable safety regulations, procedures and quality standards of Hitachi Energy.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
  • Experience in a similar position, preferably within the energy, industrial or technical sector.
  • Good knowledge of electrical installations, electrical diagrams and energy systems.
  • In possession of a driving license B and willing to travel within Belgium and abroad if necessary.
  • A good command of Dutch and English, both oral and written. Knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and industrial safety standards.
  • A VCA certificate or the willingness to obtain one.
