Experienced Project Manager - Aeroline - Aix-en-Provence

Role Summary

Join the Sopra Steria teams within the Aeroline vertical, working on key applications for our clients, major industrial players in the aeronautics and defense sectors.

Attached to the Project Management of a market, you take charge and autonomously manage the strategic and innovative projects entrusted to you (high proportion of projects/activities in agility, in the Scrum or SAFe Frameworks)

As project manager, you are the preferred contact for the client(s), partners, subcontracting companies and employees to coordinate the actions to be implemented. You exercise a global role, with responsibilities, accompanied by a monitoring director and a commercial actor.

Your role and missions

You take charge of the execution of the contract and the achievement of project objectives within the framework of fixed-rate management (customer satisfaction, compliance with the scope, budget and deadlines);

• You analyze customer needs and provide technical solutions in coordination with internal technical teams;
• You manage and lead a team of collaborators in the success of the mission;
• You are in charge of studying and monitoring risks and implementing associated action plans;

You organize the planning and manage the teams from general project specifications to the development, testing and acceptance phases, production launch and start-up support;

• You ensure the consistency of technical and functional choices, with the help of the technical manager and the business analyst of your team,
• You manage profitability, you look for optimization solutions, you ensure financial monitoring of the project (orders, invoicing);
• You carry out internal reporting to the market / agency management;
• You advance your team by setting up objectives and mission reports for each project collaborator;

You bring value to your customer by submitting suggestions for improvement on the product, technologies, processes, etc.

You are also required to participate in pre-sales, cross-functional human resources management activities (recruitment interviews, mentoring of employees, etc.) as well as in running the life of the agency.

Requirements

• You have the soul of an entrepreneur and are passionate about leadership, supervision and team management. You are looking for a complete position, which will enhance your technical, functional and management qualities.
• You have a sense of humanity and commitment, you are rigorous and have a taste for teamwork.
• Experience in agile contexts is ideally desired.
• Good command of English is essential.
• You have significant experience of at least 5 years in leading projects around information systems. Ideally, you have already worked on fixed-price projects, in ESN or with a software publisher or even an end customer.
• You have a bac +5 level training, whether university, engineering or equivalent.
