Role Summary

We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team in the vibrant city of Lisbon, Portugal. As a Cook in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious meals, maintaining high standards of food quality and contributing to our customers' dining experience.

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
• Ensure that correct food handling, storage and sanitation practices are always followed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and on-time food delivery
• Assist with menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local flavors
• Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, ordering materials as needed
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Contribute to a positive work environment, maintaining professionalism and teamwork

Requirements

• Proven experience of 2 to 3 years as a professional cook in a restaurant or similar location
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation and presentation
• Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and tools
• Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and HACCP practices
• Valid food safety certification
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Preferably with cooking course
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays
