Inżynier Procesu produkcyjnego Obszar Opakowań Szklanych at Gerresheimer in Bolesławiec, Lower Silesia, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Solving technological problems and introducing changes in the designated production area,
• Optimization of existing production processes in terms of: safety, product quality, efficiency and production costs,
• Analysis of process capabilities in terms of producing products consistent with customer requirements and cooperation with international departments representing the customer,
• Cooperation with local and international Quality, Product and Technology departments during the implementation of new products and processes in the production area, including support for process automation,
• Maintaining and supervising documentation of production processes,
• Project management and project group management;
• Determining and controlling process parameters and determining ways to eliminate their deviations from those specified in the instructions, controlling the compliance of the quality of raw materials and products with technical standards;
• Identifying and analyzing current technology problems, proposing and implementing solutions including changes in processes and tools;
• Managing trials related to the implementation of new products or other tools, new materials or process parameters;
• Preparing documentation necessary at the workplace to supervise the production of products in accordance with the specifications;
• Supporting team leaders in solving emerging technological problems in the field of machine repairs, improvements and analyzing the causes of failures and downtime;
• Conducting training related to production technology;
• Reporting on the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

Requirements

We expect from candidates

• Higher technical education, preferably with the following profile: production engineering, mechanics and machine construction;
• At least 2 years of experience as a process engineer in production plants
• Practical knowledge of the construction and operation of machines;
• Practical experience in glass processing will be an additional advantage;
• Experience in solving problems using problem solving tools;
• Experience in managing technological changes and automated processes,
• Experience in running projects or participating in project groups,
• Experience in implementing new solutions and changes on production lines;
• Knowledge of English enabling free communication;
• Analytical thinking, ability to organize your own work time and creativity
• and attitude towards accomplishing tasks;
• Skills in using lean/six sigma tools;
• Ability to read technical drawings and hydraulic diagrams;
• Knowledge of the requirements of quality assurance systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45000
