Role Summary
For our location in Düsseldorf we are looking for an electrical engineer/mechatronics engineer for mobile harbor cranes as soon as possible:
This is what we have to do
Technical support: Worldwide support for our subsidiaries, representatives and customers on control-related, electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues.
Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve faults from the office - via remote connection, telephone support or based on written instructions.
On-site service: Worldwide deployments to customers to analyze and resolve technical errors (up to 50-60%). Carrying out on-site measurements and analyzing the measurement data.
Control adjustments: Implement changes to the crane control program via remote connections.
Solution development: Development of suitable solutions together with the direct team and adjacent specialist departments, identification of the spare parts required to solve the problem and participation in the on-call service for customer support.
Data analysis: Systematic analysis of production and error databases and deriving measures from the knowledge gained. Further development of the methodology and tools for data analysis.
Documentation: Systematic documentation of the procedures and the solutions found from troubleshooting in order to increase the efficiency in identifying repeat errors.
Requirements
This is what you bring with you
- Education: Completed studies or completed technical training with further training as a technician in the field of electrical engineering, hydraulics or mechatronics.
- Personality: Strong problem-solving skills, high customer orientation and a team-oriented and structured way of working; Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Experience: Several years of technical professional experience in electrical and control engineering, hydraulics and mechatronics, preferably in the field of port technology or construction machinery.
- Expertise: Good knowledge of the S7 and CODESYS control systems as well as SINAMICS drive technology; Knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanical engineering components; very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written.
- IT competence: Confident use of MS Office and SAP and, if necessary, a programming language. Knowledge of Teamcenter, PowerBI and Matlab is desirable.
