Role Summary
At Imagemaker we are looking for our next Fullstack Java/React Developer. The role exists to support the full technology migration of a legacy sales portal following BICE's purchase of Security. This initiative is part of the adoption of the new technological stack and the architectural guidelines currently promoted by BICE Vida.
The specific problem that the person must solve is to understand the existing business logics in an application developed in .NET 6 with Angular and transfer them to a new solution based on Java, Quarkus, MuleSoft and Hasura for the backend and integrations, and React for the frontend. The migration will comprise 100% of the application and will be executed gradually, migrating, testing and validating the services successively.
A full stack person is expected with greater strength in the backend, but who also has knowledge of React to work on the frontend and consume the services developed during the migration. Must be able to read and understand existing .NET code, work autonomously on programming tasks, and implement the architecture and patterns already defined by the team. You will not need to maintain the current solution or design a new architecture.
Responsibilities
Operational responsibilities
- Migrate: you will be responsible for moving all business logic from .NET 6 to the new technological stack.
- Implement: You will be responsible for developing the backend services with Java and Quarkus under the defined hexagonal architecture.
- Integrate: You will be responsible for connecting Quarkus, MuleSoft and Hasura using GraphQL and REST API.
- Develop: You will be responsible for adapting the frontend in React to correctly consume the migrated services.
- Ensure: You will be responsible for delivering each migrated service, tested and working before moving to the next component.
- Connect: You will be responsible for integrating the solution with existing AWS Lambda functions and AWS Secrets Manager.
Technical coordination responsibility
- Coordinate: You will be responsible for managing changes through Git, avoiding conflicts with the team that keeps the current application active.
